PROCRASTINATION

PROCRASTINATION!  What a strange word.  Its letters number many but its meaning relates to none.  Those who procrastinate often find themselves falling behind with their lives, sinking deeper with each new sun that sets.  In these busy times its easy and often more desirable to delay things which require some effort for ones that are simpler and more enjoyable to do.  But unfortunately, sooner or later, it all gets caught up in one big mess.

Our health is something easy to procrastinate with.  How often have you made plans to quit smoking, or start exercising; maybe even improve your diet, just to put it off for another day?  Lots of times I'll bet.  All the knowledge and tools in the world are useless if they are not put to proper use.  Well things are about to change, for this is a new day with new opportunities awaiting you.  So why not make the best of it starting right now.

MUSCLEART20.jpg Make this the most important day of your life, stop procrastinating today!  Take a good look in the mirror and see if you like what you're looking at.  If you do, more power to you.  But chances are you'll only be fooling yourself.  No one is perfect!  We all have our faults and realizing them is the first step towards a new you.

Americans have a lot to be thankful for.  Throughout our land we have the latest technology advanced health related facilities available to us, able and ready to meet the medical demands of our stressful times.  In just about every county you'll also find a health food store stacked with natural foods, supplement products, and informative materials for us to learn and improve our health with.  The internet has also become main stream for fitness minded individuals seeking info on nutrition and exercise.  Our very own web site, MarioStrong.com, is loaded with tons of advice, ranging from weight loss to muscle building, and calorie charts to strength training, so be sure to check it all out.  As our society evolves we all must learn to adopt with its changes.  Keeping up with the latest technology and advances of the 21st century will help raise our nation's health to optimum levels.

Another evolution has taken place in this country.  Many new bodybuilding and fitness centers have opened, equipped with the latest state of the art training equipment, designed to help us realize maximum gains in the shortest time possible.  From the early days of physical culture, bodybuilding has grown into a billion dollar industry, with just about everyone, from teenage athletes to never say die grandparents, getting in on the fitness evolution.

A1eb3b715.jpgside of this evolution, a battle has been raging between the true natural bodybuilding athletes and the steroid freaks who risk their health for a few pounds of muscle and a dust covered trophy.  It's important that you not be swayed down the wrong path, for you could find yourself at a permanent dead end, as so many other bodybuilders have unfortunately realized.

As important as nutrition and exercise are to our health, so is the factor of unhealthy habits.  For example, smoking is a leading cause of many illnesses including heart disease, cancer, and emphysema, yet millions of Americans practice this stupid habit daily.  If only they would stop, how much better they would feel.  Unfortunately, smoking is just one of the many unhealthy habits practiced daily by many of our neighbors, friends, and family members.  These daily rituals have sent the cost of medical care soaring while depleting the health of our country to an alarming level.  If we are to survive as a nation we must focus on the big picture, while we still have a chance.

Look back at your past and realize how much time you have wasted.  Then look ahead and see what you want to be.  Try and vision the best you possibly could become, then write your goals down on a piece of paper and hang it as a daily reminder.  On the backside of the paper write down your faults, erasing them as each of your goals is met.  Give it a try.

Motivation is an important factor in helping us strive towards our desired goals.  For bodybuilders, seeing the poundage of the weights increase, along with new muscular size and shape is not only satisfying but self-motivating.  The key is not to set unrealistic goals.  Wanting to be the strongest, most muscular person that ever lived just might be out of your reach.  Be realistic and conquer your goals one step at a time.  Stay motivated!

Read, listen, and learn.  There are many facts and theories on health related topics going around today, and it's up to each individual to find out what works best for themselves.  Several ways to educate yourself are by reading as much fitness oriented material as possible.  Try to grasp onto what each piece of literature is offering.  Take notes as if you were in school; draw some conclusions of your own.  Learn to listen to those who are knowledgeable in the field of physical culture.  Be patient and apply your new found knowledge to your life, giving it time to learn what works best for you.  Most important of all never be satisfied, always strive to improve a little bit more each day.

There is no power greater than a positive attitude.  Believe that you can and you shall.  Those who believe in themselves are a step ahead of the game.  The ability to look at each new day as a challenge helps create an adventurous, strong desire to achieve the ultimate.  If you believe that each new day will be better than the past one, chances are it will.

Patience is of great importance when striving towards any goal.  It takes time to become what your dreams are made of, and it's important to take each new day as it comes.  Wanting everything to happen overnight will only result in despair and anguish.  Let the flame of desire burn strong, but watch closely or it may burn out of control, stopping you in your tracks long before you reach your goals.  Be thankful for what you have and give each new day a little bit extra, and before you know it you will have climbed the mountain.  Remember, time has no limits and neither shall you.  We are all here on planet Earth for a short while, so why not make your life a grand experience with the radiant health and vitality realized through the natural bodybuilding lifestyle.

Today begins the rest of your life, so make it a special one by taking a long ride on the super highway of 'Health and Longevity'.  Enjoy the trip!
